When a sender initiates an e-Transfer, the funds are immediately withdrawn from the designated Credit Union account. Within about 30 minutes, an email and/or mobile message will be sent to the recipient as per the information provided by the sender.
When the recipient correctly answers the e-Transfer question set by the sender, the funds are immediately deposited into the account selected by the recipient.
How much does it cost to send an e-Transfer?
To initiate an e-Transfer – $1.00 per e-Transfer
If a declined/cancelled or expired transaction is not reclaimed by the member and the Credit Union manually refunds the member account – $5.00 per transaction
Is there a fee to receive an e-Transfer?
There is no fee to receive an e-Transfer into your Credit Union account.
What if I sent the wrong amount of money or to the wrong person?
A sender may cancel an e-Transfer at any time before it has been claimed by the recipient. When an e-Transfer is cancelled the fee for sending it will not be refunded.

e-Transfer Troubleshooting
I am unable to see the INTERAC e-Transfer button on online banking.
If you are using Google Chrome do the following:
Update to the latest version of Google Chrome
Open Google Chrome
Click on the three dots in the top right hand corner
Click ‘Help’
Click ‘About Google Chrome’
Google Chrome will check for updates and if necessary update your version of Google Chrome automatically. If an update is completed you will be required to restart Google Chrome once the update is complete.
Clear browsing data
Click on the three dots in the top right hand corner
Click on ‘Settings’
Scroll to the bottom and click on ‘Advanced’
Click on ‘Clear browsing data’
Make sure there is a check box in each of the three boxes
Click ‘Clear Data’
Close Google Chrome and reopen it
Log into online banking at dundalkcu.ca. Click on Transfers and you should now be able to see the INTERAC e-Transfers button.
If you are using Microsoft Edge do the following:
Open Microsoft Edge
Click on the three dots in the top right hand corner
Click on ‘Settings’
Under ‘Clear browsing data’ click on ‘Choose what to clear’
Ensure the first five boxes have check marks
Click ‘Clear’
Once complete it will say ‘All clear!’
Close Microsoft Edge and reopen it
Log into online banking at dundalkcu.ca. Click on Transfers and you should now be able to see the INTERAC e-Transfers button.
If you are using Internet Explorer do the following:
Open Internet Explorer
Click on the Tools icon in the top right hand corner
Click on ‘Safety’
Click on ‘Delete browsing history…’
Make sure there is a check box in the top four boxes (which are Preserve Favorites Website Data, Temporary Internet Files and Website Files, Cookies, and Website Data and History)
Click on ‘Delete’
Close Internet Explorer and reopen it
Log into online banking at dundalkcu.ca. Click on Transfers and you should now be able to see the INTERAC e-Transfers button.
