Agricultural & Commercial Credit Officer
Dundalk Credit Union seeks a highly motivated individual with a background in Agriculture that is a confident communicator with strong analytical skills. Applicants must have an aptitude for negotiation combined with sound decision-making abilities and be capable of managing multiple priorities. A degree in agriculture, business or commerce and related finance experience is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required.
The successful applicant will report to our Senior Agricultural & Commercial Account Manager and share responsibility for granting agricultural and commercial credit to current members and potential members within policy guidelines, monitor and review Agricultural and Commercial Accounts and meet with customers at their farm/place of business as well as in the credit union office. The individual will be expected to work as part of the credit union team with a focus on serving the needs of the local farm and business community, but may be required to handle retail credit applications from time to time. The position may be full time (approx. 30 hours per week) or part-time with a view to moving into a full-time long term position. The starting date for the position will be between March 20th and April 3rd, 2018.
